Zemmama Returns To Morocco Squad

Zemmama returns to Morocco squad Morocco boss Roger Lemerre has recalled Merouane Zemmama to the Atlas Lions lineup for the first time in 18 months.

Zemmama was dropped out of the national team after he decided to terminate his contract with his former club Raja Casablanca to join Scottish side Hibernian.

But the French manager decided to include him in his selection for Morocco’s next world cup qualifier against Mauritania.

Hibernian striker Abdessalam Benjelloun and Spanish based midfielder Abderrahman Kabous were both dropped for injuries.

The North Africans need to win this match to reach the next round of the qualifiers and snatch their group’s ticket from Rwanda.
