Ghana cruised to the next phase of the 2010 world cup qualifiers after a 3-0 win over Lesotho at the Essipong Stadium on Saturday pushed them to the top of Group 5.
The Black Stars territorial dominance from the blast of the whistle paid off in the 19th minute mark when Sulley Muntari fired a pile-driver from 20-yards.
Striker Mathew Amoah played a one-on-one with the Inter player who unleashed a thunderbolt that zoomed past keeper Lekunutu Tseounyane.
The goal came 12 minutes after Muntari had hit the woodwork on the 7th minute.
Junior Agogo increased Ghana's tally on 22 minutes when he chipped a ball from 15-yards over the Crocodiles goalkeeper.
NAC Breda striker Mathew Amoah latched on an error by substitute Tsoloane Mosakeng and skipped past Keeper Lekunutu to slot in the third in the 63rd minute.
Ghana qualifies alongside Gabon who recorded a slim 1-0 over Libya at home and a better goal difference.
