Kanu Confident Of Reaching Finals

Nigeria striker Nwankwo Kanu is confident of success in his country’s 2010 World Cup/Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique on March 29, but has warned his teammates they will have to be at their best.
The match in Maputo marks the start of the final phase of qualifying for the showpiece events, with only the side who finishes top of their group advancing to the World Cup in South Africa.
It means the pressure is on from the start, but Kanu says the Super Eagles have what it takes to succeed.
"It will be a difficult game and we will have to sacrifice a lot and be at our best so as to get maximum points," Kanu said.
"The players are up for the game. We have to be positive and, with a bit of luck, we will achieve our common goal, which is to play at the World Cup."
The top three teams in each group will advance to the finals of the 2010 Nations Cup, which will be held in Angola next January.
