Ghana have been dealt a further blow ahead of their 2010 World Cup/Africa Cup of Nations Group D qualifier in Mali after Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari pulled out through injury.

Coach Milovan Rajevac is already without Laryea Kingston, Derek Boateng, Stephen Appiah and Asamoah Gyan, while Michael Essien limped out of the English FA Cup final between Chelsea and Everton last weekend.

"Muntari will be not travelling with us because of an injury and he has sent us a medical report to back that up," GFA vice-president Fred Pappoe told BBC Sport.
