Duncan Oughton is another one of the New Zealand players who made his way into the professional ranks of football by going through the American college system.

He currently plies his trade with Columbus Crew in the MLS in the US. Having represented his country on 25 occasions Oughton understands the basic principles of the Kiwi squad and will prove a valuable asset to his side.

The Defensive midfielder received his first international cap for his country in 2002, in a win over Tahiti in the Oceania Nations Cup.
