Shehata Delays Naming Local Players

Egypt coach Hassan Shehata has taken the unusual step of naming the overseas based players in his squad for the friendly international with Guinea in Cairo on August 12, but will delay naming which players from the local Egyptian Premier League will take part.
Included are the overseas trio of Mohamed Zidan (Borussia Dortmund, Germany), Mohamed Shawky (Middlesbrough, England) and Hosni Abd-Rabou (Ahli Dubai, UAE), while striker Mido was once again left out.
Shehata says he will name the locally-based players after the first round Premier League matches on August 6/7.
