Ghana Look To Crush England's Dreams

Ghana will look to further crush the dreams and aspirations of England when they take on the Young Lions at the Ismailia Stadium on Tuesday evening in their second FIFA Under-20 World Cup clash in Egypt (kick-off is at 19h30 GMT).
The Africans got off to the perfect of starts after a come from behind victory over Uzbekistan in their first match in Group D.
The Black Satellites may have started a little slowly against their Asian opposition and even conceded the games first goal.
But after going behind, a spark seemed to be lit under the young Ghanaians bum as they eventually began playing some beautiful African football.
Thereafter, as was expected, two second-half strikes by Ransford Osei and Dominic Adiyah handed Ghana a 2-1 win. The West Africans, after going behind, showed what they were made off, applying mountains of pressure on the Uzbekistan goal before eventually finding their two goals.
Now Ghana will have to take on a formidable England, who many considered the Group D favourites prior to the start of the tournament.
However, that is not how it has played out. Due to club commitments and injury, England have come to this tournament with a seriously depleted side and hence lost 1-0 to Uruguay in their opening group match.
That loss extended the young Lions’ winless streak to eight games in their history of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup. It was a particularly bitter pill for them to swallow considering they conceded the goal to Uruguay six minutes from time.
Another problem on their plate is the fact that they have also failed to score a goal in their last seven World Cup matches.
Scoring has been no problem for the Black Satellites and they will be licking their lips in anticipation of possibly knocking England out of the tournament and qualifying for the next stage of the World Cup. They will more than likely play the same side that defeated Uzbekistan, whereas England may look to ring the changes which may disrupt the team.
Going into the match Ghana will be confident they can claim victory based on their second half performance in their opening match of the tournament.
However, it will be no easy task as England will look to end their dismal run and possibly claim their fist win in eight games. Still the young Ghanaians, with their African flair and passion, may just have to much fire power for the European side.
