Adebayor To Lead Togo Squad For Qualifier

Emmanuel Adebayor will lead Togo’s 23-man squad for their World cup African zone Group One qualifier away to Cameroon on Saturday.

The reigning African Footballer of the Year is the key player in the squad which was put together by interim coach Tchanile Bana, who has since been replaced. It is the first match in charge for Frenchman Hubert Velud, appointed only last week.

Left out of the squad are long term goalkeeper Kossi Agassa and the Belgian-based midfielder Adekanmi Olufade.
